cabinets have been installed

lots of bad weather this week prevented the brick from going up. however, looks like it will be going up this week. the maple cabinets have been installed in the kitchen. the bathroom cabinets were also installed. the ones in the bathroom will be painted white. looks like things should start to roll pretty quick from here on out. we should be in the house in about 6 weeks......

sheetrock is up with some taping and floating

this week was the installation of the sheetrock. while we were there, they had a crew taping and floating the walls. this week we should see the brick go up!

interior insulation installed

this week most of the interior insulation was installed. after inspections are made regarding the framing and the electrical, the sheetrock will start to go up. the sheetrock has been delivered already and you can see stacks of it in some of the pictures. the brick will also start to go up once the framing and electrical inspections have been complete.

we now have ductwork, electrical/wiring, and a fireplace

this week was the installation the electrical wiring and surround sound pre-wiring. the living room downstairs and the game room upstairs received the surround sound pre-wire. air conditioning ductwork has also been installed throughout the house. locations of lighting fixtures have also been installed. the master bathroom now has the bathtub as well as the shower base. the fireplace has also been installed in the living room. brick has also been delivered and should go up in the few weeks.
